If you are wearing soft lenses, then there is no problem what so ever, You can wash your face and if some soap gets in to your eyes, dont panic, wash well with plenty of water, that way even the lenses get cleaned.
Yes, just keep your eyes closed. You can also swim and take showers/baths with contacts in if you are able to keep your eyes open, the enjoy it all the same!

I keep my eyes closed and I'm careful not to get soap in them. If you do, just rinse them carefully, you'll be OK.
