We don't die because we are human. We die because we are alive. All living organisms die. Plants are living organisms. Therefore they die.

Though plants are not human but they are living n show similarity with humans---------grow, respire, reproduce and so die also.

The DNA in all living cells can only replicate itself so many times. Once replication stops no new cells are made to replace the ones that wear out and eventually the organism dies.
