There is no legal reason why not, but the Bible clearly warns Christians not to be 'yoked' with unbelievers. I don't know what the Koran says but I do know that it's hard enough being married to a backslidden Christian, let alone trying to live with someone of a different faith. Whatever you think before you get married, there will many problems ahead. Most of us want to raise our children to follow our beliefs, and trying to raise them to believe 2 sets of beliefs equally would be very confusing. There was a case recently where a muslim child chose to leave her christian mum to go and live with her muslim father, and there have been plenty of cases of muslim parents snatching their kids and taking them to live in muslim countries (not sure if it happens the other way around.) I wouldn't do it.

I have a cousin who married a Muslim. He converted & now hes a Christian as well & they raise their kids to be Christians.
He says if he ever returns to his home, he will be killed as a Christian!
Well they have been married for more than 15 years now & they are a very happy family!

Theoretically, no. But I think some muslim men can marry christian women and the kids will be raised muslim. If a christian man marries a muslim woman...then the kids would probably be raised christian so, I dont think it happens much where a muslim woman marries a christian man unless he converts.

Yes, Muslim men can marry non-Muslim women, but Muslim woman marrying non-Muslim men is less common as any children should follow the fathers religion by birth. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Life is horrible when there is a religious and cultural differance.
We like to believe in the so called 'Global Village' but in reality it really doesn't exist. Stick to your own...!

Of course. But according to the muslim law, the other non-muslim partner, no matter what other religion, HAVE TO convert to muslim to be legally married.By converting to muslim, you have to go to muslim school to study the religion and bible, not eat pork, etc. You have to totally be commited to the religion (like changing your name)
My friend's parents are muslim+christian, both partners agreed that the mom does not need to convert to satisfy the muslim law. They got married under the country's law...And even after 26 years, they're not actually legally married in the eyes of the muslim community, and sadly even after a happy family, the sons are considered "bastar ds". Sad, but true.

Yes but only muslim man can marry christian woman but christian man cannot marry muslim woman. not just Christian but Jewish too... and we called them as 'ahli kitab' ( i dunno what other country called them but at Malaysia we called them like that ). But now, some country said yes to that marry and some said no! bcos we dun want any problem when they married especially about food, kids etc. and Malaysia one of the country say NO! It is used to all religion in Malaysia. If you r Buddihist, your partner must be Buddhist too...
