my messenger is making different alerts and sounds on version 8.0?

i want the brinnnnnnnnnnng knock knock knock back the door bell ect ect when some sines in im hearing a whip sound

I've noticed that, and I don't like it. Now it's much harder to hear when u have a new message etc. Maybe there is an option somewehere to change the sounds but I haven't found it yet.... :(

Additional details: I found the sounds folder and I replaced the new sounds with the old ones which can be heard better. :)

Could it be, you did not connected right? or your' hard drive is going too slow, with all the pictures and stuff you have??
