I can never remember the difference between these two. A close family member has bipolar disorder, which used to be called Manic Depression. It involves mood swings between mania and depression. For her it also involved paranoia, and she had one episode which involved halucinations and delusions (but this is not the norm--she has had this disease since before I was born and I only remember her having the halucinations the one time). It usually starts around the teen years.
3. Seasonal Affective Disorders
Something to do with the seasonal change in light affecting your mood.
4. Depressive Disorders
Not much

Wow, I agree with the person above me - that is alot to ask for just here. There is tons of information about these disorders online. I would recommend looking there. There is way too much information to list here. I did an entire college paper on just one of those.

Wow...you ask for a lot. I know quite a bit about each one (just finished up a psych class myself) but there just isn't enough room here. I suggest Googling them.
