i am really busy and have a ton of work piling up but i am wasting time answering questions that i dont care about for people i dont know and i cant stop!!!?!

I'm not at work.. im a student & i have homework that I need to do. it gets done, but i can always do more (grad school... never ends...)

I realy dont know how to stop it, I to do the same, I seem to be so hard to pull myself away. It taking over my life, I have already had 2 worning for my boss about useing answers at work but I still cant stop.
I realy think that yahoo should set up a saport program for all the people that answers has taken over there lifes.
I have even tryed going cold turky, but I just cant do it. I am going to lose my job over this silly sight, And I do know that it a silly site, I realy do care about the people that I help, but I get a HIGH for useing the site, Even my kids are starting to nag at me to get off the computer and play with them...
I realy do need help.

this shows your carelessness towards your job. you must be punished by your boss for stopping the work and doing this bloody business .so, you will not stop until this got happened. as the same was done with me.now, i am answering the questions in my leisure time

yes, i have the same problem too. you might have the nature of showing great concern towards people's problems.
ofcourse we don't know the people who ask the question, but we can know more n more abt the world and how our fellow members of the world are
