Think about the situation of her, a sick person, nobody to care for her except you. You are a great person kind enough to help your friend like father and mother.Keep it up. Do not get angry. God has a reward for you. You will know it in future.

I've just turned 34.When I was 15 - 19 I was anorexic.Nothing you can say or do will change her mind. All you can do is be there and support her.Just keep reminding her that you are worried about her.No matter what anyone said to me it went in one ear and out the other.I once collapsed in front of a bus because I hadn't eaten for a week.It wasn't until I decided to have my first child at 20 that I was forced to put the needs of my child first.Anorexia can affect so many areas of our health. Why not get information on anorexia printed off for her.Lists of the effects of what not eating can do.Pictures of teeth would be a good one, because anorexics can lose the enamel off their teeth.Fertility can be affected.Use some shock tactics.Good luck and you sound like a brilliant friend to have.Take care

do you know it could kill her? talk to your friend. tell her how your feeling. tell her that she wants to lose weight there are some food she could do it with. anorexic isn't the only way to lose weight. how long has she been doing this? help her before its to late.
i had a friend who was an anorexic. she started so young. she doesn't eat. she was afraid of her own weight but she looked prefectly fine. it hurted all of us. she went in and out of the hospital because how many time she was hurting herself. she got some help but that didn't work at all. after a year of being gone she came back home like she was back to herself. she told us tha she wasn't doing it anymore. that was a lie nothing but a lie. she lied to all of us. when we asked her about it. she said," don't you believe me. i thought we are all friends." she would get mad. to make it short. she's eating healthy now. she found a great boyfriend who stood by her. always helping her. she knew we wouldn't gave up plus her boyfriend loves her and his going to propose to her.

Anorexic is an illness, she is sick, she need professional help. Try to do some research on the side effect of Anorexic, be patient, you will be able to convince her to seek professinal help.

This is difficult....I know from experience(I had this disease myself years ago)that you can't be helped until you realize yourself you have a problem. This problem is way too big for you to cary on your own....get others involved!A counselor from school/her doctor/her parents(yes, even them..sit them down and make them see that their daughter is slowly killing herself and they have to act now if they want to have a daughter at all...)
Try talking to your friend in a non-judging way...anorexia is usually a cry for help..judging her will make it worse....
Let her know you love her and are worried about her..that you're here for her if she needs you......
Wishing you all the best..and your friend as well!

i feel for you. i can't imagine what you are going through. actually there isn't really anything that you can do. If her parents aren't concerned, then maybe some other relative like her grandparents or aunt.... anyways, she definately needs help. its gonna be hard but i can't really think of anything that you can do except be there when she falls. but keep on her about it. maybe someday she will listen. try a crisis hotline or something like that maybe. good luck

1. Do not tell her about eating.
2. Start praying for her...it's the best thing you can do!

And if she doesn't want to eat food help her drink juices, eat oranges, grapes, apples...Take good care of her and of yourself, please!

Talk to your friend, you can never decide for her, you might that much but that doesn't mean you can decide on how she should be, she knows herself more than you do.
