It seems that that the report in the French news paper indicating typhoid may have killed OBL, was not substantiated. In order to fulfill the role of the mahdi (divinely guided one) of Islamic eschatologic prophecy, he must escape death. OBL is not dead, yet.
I think that Osama is in Qom, Iran, the same place as Iran's Supreme's Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei. Remember Osama wants to bridge the gap between Sunni and Shia. The US has some control over the Musharraf government in Pakistan but not over Iran. That makes Iran the safest place for Osama. Qom and Mashad have important Muslim shrines so they are the safest cities in Iran for Osama. The Wali al Asr was hidden at Masjid Jamkaran in Qom. It would be the perfect place for Osama.
Even if the US or its allies take military action against the underground nuclear research facility at Natanz, the heavy water nuclear facility at Arak and the nuclear power plant at Bushehr, there will be no attack against the holy shrines in Qom and Mashad.

They might have pretty strong indications that he is in Pakistan but no proof and precisely where likely to be unknown. Think of the trouble in finding Sadam Hussein with US troops in control after the invasion of Iraq. He may also be dead or if he is alive slip away as an attack developed. An attack on a 'friendly' country involving many casualties would likely result in many more sympathisers for Osama.

well !! osma is political issue n America should deal it like that wit negotiation but wht this idiot do is that it make it a way to attack the countires fo invasion like thye did in Afghanistan.......stupid !! u dont know even now that America is not at all intersted in Osama , they know that if they even catch him then tooo the ,ll have to face a great reaction from Al Qaeda so why wud they find him, they just make it an excuse for attacking countires, n when they will feel need of attacking Pakistan (for their own sake ) they wud do the same even if they know that Osama is not in Pak n wont need ur asking got it!!!!!!

America has the worlds most high-tech and sophisticated equipment and they still haven’t found him yet; doesn’t that come to show something?
If Osama is getting funds from Iran then why cant they trace them how is it that they are able to track where his financial support is coming from but cant track where it is going to.
All Osama has is a lethal wooden walking stick “O My God” what if he has a bomb in there!!!?? Maybe he has a computer hidden in the cave with 500 miles wireless internet? Or maybe he sends letters to Iran via ‘Air mail’.
How it is that he is able to have video footage’s of his speeches almost every month or so? And What about his new mate the person who has recently joined him? What did he just fly in too?
There is no such thing as Al-Qaeda or the Taliban, However the Media happens to have video footage of them well they have the video but the people in there are a small minority of Muslims who take extremism as an option. Islam means peace not terrorism and I personally wouldn’t class the Islamic terrorists as Muslims.

Honey it's so simple!
See, america wants to get into IRAN, cuz Iran is like the only country strong enough to stand against america. America tried to get into Iran via Iraq by completely conquering it.
Now, it's trying to improve ties with Pakistan also to get into Iran.
Just accept one thing that Osama's America's man, whom America itself sends to places as an excuse to capture him and get into that country. Osama is like a mechanical mouse which America sets out.

Because the American governement failed to determine his exact location. They are not sure if he is in pakistan or afghanistan. So they failed to catch him.
