I can tell u from my experience that status has absolutely NOTHING to do with the success of a marriage which has "love" as its foundation.

There is no status in the successful love marriage. If any one sees status, humbleness be not there that brings pride then to hatred and then that leads to destruction.

It shouldn't but it did in mine, he wanted status and I didn't care about it. So now he is in a loveless marriage but they have their status. go figure huh!
