I had the same problem until I told my mother in law either lay off or stop calling and coming to my home. It has been bliss for a year

well, this never goes away. i have the same problem. you get to the point where you just lose it and say there has to be a change. belive me, nothing changes. it might for a little, but then it gets worse. now, there is new crap to use against you that she knows about. if it is really that bad, maybe it isn't worth the relationship. i am thinking about leaving mine because of this and some others. it is just too difficult

you are not alone..as many of us suffer this dilema too, they try and try but some of them fall flat, others survived!to disobey your husband is a sin, a a son to disobey her mother is alsa a sin in muslim, but in all we do have that problems,a mother still thinks her son is her baby.Up to us to show that we need to run our own life by our own without intefere. So ask yourself back, what have i done from the past thats make my life sucks..my moum inlaws want to up hold the laws in my home...

Not enough information to answer this question. Give more details. Is your husband backing you up or does he take her side. What is she doing to make it miserable?
Details, Details, Details

I told her no that my kid, not yours. and that night My daughter was very very sick. I have no choice but called mother in law.
she came and took us to hospital. My daughter keep on saying daddy daddy daddy. I got her and she been holding on me since we waiting for dr. and mother in law keep on you want nana i am here and keep on doing it and my daughter said daddy daddy. I told her to back off leave her alone pls.
Nurse called us in and Mother in law want to take care i told her stop my kid.. look at the nurse and I asked alot of questions and then mother in law bothers me when I am asking question and I told her pls. stop. she won't but nice nurse asked her to wait outside. LOL

DITTO!!
You tell them to stop criticizing, judging, attacking or/and telling you what to do and then they get MAD!
I had a similar question...
Move far FAR away!
Don't give them your new contact details!
(My bf keeps doing this though!! ARRGH!!)
They are just a waste of your life!

Try to know what exactly is her problem.See if you can work the problem out together.
If she is bothering you for no reason at all, go away from her.
