Three days ago, I had sex with my partner in the early morning. However, by the end of the day, my penis could not get erect again? This has continued over the past two days causing untold worry to me and my partner. What could be happening to me? I take medication for high blood pressure.

it is not the high blood pressure per se that causes limping. it is the medicine you take (which i presume you haven't been taking that long yet). you see, high blood pressure results from blockages or constrictions in your blood vessels, like a pipe that's clogged. to get the pressure back down to normal, you can either remove the clog or increase the diameter of the pipe. your medication is most likely a dilator, one that makes your blood vessels expand to relieve the building pressure. the problem is, your penis is full of blood vessels which actually has to restrict blood flow to a certain level so you achieve erection. think of it as a bottleneck in traffic. during sexual arousal, the heart pumps faster and reaches a blood flow rate that is partially restricted by the normal size of the blood vessels in your penis. your meds do not distinguish between blood vessels in your leg and those in your penis; it dilates everything. so, you're actually not getting enough pressure in your penis, hence the limping.

your doctor should've warned you about this after prescribing the medicine. it is best to consult him again and seek proper medical advice.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Ive heard that the medication is the culprit. You'll have to change the times that you and your spouse get playful. Though Ive heard there are medications that also help with that. Its a common result of lots of different meds.

when you take the medicine it makes your blood pressure go down which only makes sence that you cant get an erection cause blood is what holds it up.
