Of course I do - doesn't everybody? A simple 'thank you' from somebody when you have done something for them means a lot. A gesture of thanks, for example a box of chocs or a bunch of flowers means even more. We are all so rushed these days that we often forget to say 'thanks'. That's such a pity - if people showed more appreciation, then we would be willing to more for others. You can feel a little disillusioned & disappointed when you make an effort to help somebody & they don't even say 'thanks'. That makes you think 'well, I won't bother helping in that way again'. So it's a vicious circle.

I like it. My husband is always very appreciative of me and often tells me. Our kids, who are all still pretty young, just know that I'm mommy and I'll get everything done! They're still learning what the word "Appreciate" means!
