There could be many medical reasons for this. That is why you need a good examination by your doctor. I could suggest possibilities but it would be pointless because you need to find out what is wrong.
If nothing shows up on the doctors tests, ask about a sleep study to test for sleep apnea. That test involves a sleep over. Sleep apnea is more common than people realize, and one of the symptoms is being tired and sleepy after 8 hrs. sleep. There is an effective treatment for this.

I have heard of this problem before, I recommend you make an appointment to discuss this problem with your doctor.
I have watched documentaries about what i think you may be describing your sleep disorder could be called Narcolepsy.
Please go and seek medical advice, you can also research this on the Internet.
The main symptom (clinical manifestation) of narcolepsy, excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS), is often the most disabling one. It causes the patient to tend to fall asleep or doze off easily. This happens not only in relaxed situations, but also at inappropriate times and places. For example, patients may fall asleep while watching TV, reading a book, driving a motor vehicle, attending a meeting, or engaging in a conversation. The daytime sleepiness is present even after normal nighttime sleep. Patients may refer to this symptom by any of the following descriptions: being tired, fatigued, or sleepy, feeling lazy, or having low energy.
I hope this will help you.

If you do not do so already, try excercising and eating healthier. You would be surprised how much more energy you will get! But I would see a doc to rule out other causes, because things like thyroid problems, anemia, sleep disorders, etc can cause this as well. You are not necessarily narcoleptic. Remember, even though they mean well, nobody can diagnose you but your doctor, and you can't get diagnosed over the internet. People, be responsible with your answers.
