Patrika, you don't have to download anything. If you want to totally delete a specific program that has an icon in the task bar -- that is what the space below where the clock is called -- then go into the control panel. which you will find in settings on your start menu, and open Add/Remove Programs. Click on the program you would like to delete to select it and then click the Remove button on the right side and follow the prompts. After you do that, the icon that you wanted removed on the task bar for that program will no longer be there. If on the other hand, you simply want to hide the icon but keep the program, then right click on a empty space on the task bar and then left click on properties. The task bar and Start Menu Properties Window will appear. Under the task bar tab, check the box at bottom of window which says Hide inactive icons. Then click the customise button, find the icon or icons you wish to hide in the lists, click to select and then to the right choose either always hide or hide when inactive. Hope this helps.

Go to RUN at the click of your START button and type in "msconfig" then chose "Startup" and disable it from starting....as to removing it, it may depend on your program that initiates the icon.

you can delete or remove this either by system utilities such as system mechanic that allows you to remove manually on start up as this will make your pc slowing down..go ahead and try..
