if love is eternal, then, if you fall out of love, that means you've never been in love in the first place?

True eternal lasting love takes lots and lots of work. It isn't just happenstance. Sure, you can love more than one person, but the good stuff takes commitment and work. Those first feelings of infatuation that a lot of people call "love" is really just a chemical reaction that only last for approximately 2 years. In order to to create "true love," you have to move beyond that into something deeper and more emotional. How do you do that? No idea. Ask a couple who have been married for 50 years. They may know.

Yes it's eternal, but I don't believe it, I know it for a fact, but thats only because I found my wife and we're exactly the same. Only I'm male and she's female.
As for loving more than one person, yes ofcourse, but one of them will always be a deeper love than the other. As much as some people may think, you can't love two or more people all exactly on the same level of deepness and importantness. ("importantness", probably not a real word but you get my point.)

Of course true love is eternal. True love does not judge; therefore, we continue to love that person despite their flaws, mistakes, and evolving personalities. I don't believe it is possible to be truly in love with more than person. When we're in love, we are loyal and passionate about that one person, and we do not put others before them. There is no reason or desire to fall in love with someone else when the love of your life is with you.

Sometimes. Depends if it/they have changed, or your taste/beliefs.
Yes. But it is pulling you apart, confusing and heartbreaking.
