Hi John,

Yes it goes on all the time I've been victim twice now once in a software house, i was subject to taunts and ridiculed about being slightly over weight not having children then and walking 3 miles a day to work. The second time i was employed by Barhale Construction my boss was a sadist he would make be drive in Walsall either for 7.30am or Friday at 3.30pm for a 10min letcure and then tell me to BOG OF and laughed because he know i would not get home for at least 3/4 hours because of the shear volume of traffic on the roads.

When i left i told his boss and he just laughed in my face and said goodbye - best thing i every did was leave I'm on more money now, good job, and more than anything very happy in what i do.

Yes it happens.

You need to record everything that happens on paper, and tell the person (especially if it's the boss) that they are bullying you (it doesn't have to be physical, it can be mental too)

Othewise if you decide to go for it in court or whatever you won't have a leg to stand on.

Hope you're not bullying or being bullied.

That is not really a question but it does mean I can twist it to fit what I want to say. I used to get bullied in the Savoy Kitchens, worst case was being locked in the freezer for several hours. I would have just popped him on the nose but he was a superior and I did not want to loose my job.

Not working there now and I haven't forgotten who he was...

Not if you stand up to yourself and don't let bosses treat you like ****.
Too many people accept being yelled at and abused by somebody just because they are their boss. it is NOT acceptable, tell them so and demand some respect. you are an employee not a school kid.
