Alister Campbell of Zimbawe was trhe first to score a centure in ICC Champions Trophy. He scored 100 runs against New Zeland in the Wills International Cup 1998/99 (Champions Trophy was played at that time with the name of Wills International Cup)
at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka on 24.10.1998.
Sachin Tendulkar scored 141 runs in the same tournament, but on 28.10.1998 in the same grounds against Australia
