I keep asking people, do I look like an aardvark? They all swear that I don't. Is there something wrong with my mirror?

Thsi only happens in your bathroom mirror at home, right?
Your neighbour has drilled a rectagular hole in the wall separating your two properties.
You are looking through the wall at his pet aardvark, Dvarkaa, an animal with an usual gift for mimicry who copies your every movement, including brushing your teeth and shaving.
By a weird concidence, the tiling in Dvarkaa's enclosure matches your bathroom tiles exactly, and he has the same towel rack, too.

Maybe your mirror bends forwards at some points so certain parts of your body look unusually curved.
