To each their own. It could just be that her lips are not one of her erogenous zones - in which case you should try elsewhere.

Another possible reason, which I sincerely hope is not the case, is that you have a breath problem.

You first of all need to take a good look at your breath, you should be able to know if you have a problem, it's simple. If you do, then combat that problem and you'll see the difference, if that's not it, then you'll have to ask her very directly, and say something like, how come every time I try kissing you, you pull back or so, is there something wrong, (another thing you need to figure out is, how long has this been going on, in other words, when did it first start to happen?) it could be a number of things, but it is not good to guess or assume, as you might not have the right answer.

It could be that she is playing games to appear more interesting like oh, I'm not up to this, so she can make you feel that you need her or want her because of her rejecting you, it could be she is not into it for a reason, resentment. So ask directly.

I had a boy friend years ago and he did have that issue of bad breath, and then I had another guy very interested on marrying me, but I just couldn't it was beyond I could take. So the first one I told him he had to do something about it and all intimacy stopped, go figure! 2nd one just didn't care and did nothing, I wasn't into him. So I broke up with him, but hygiene is such an important factor in a relationship. So now you should have a better idea. Hope this helps.

Don't you find it odd that you aren't asking your wife this question since she is the one who claims to not like being kissed on the lips. The intimacy and solidity of your marriage is concerning that you haven't discussed this with her openly. And is this new for you-you must have dated her before getting married-did she always "not like" being kissed on the lips or is this relatively recent for her?

maybe she doesn't like her lips, or maybe she just doesn't like being kissed on the lips by you. It could be she has had bad experiences with kissing. There are many reasons why this could be.

Assuming you're talking about the upper lips, check out how you kiss her. Is it a real puckered kiss? If so, relax a bit and kiss her softly, but with some pressure. Change it and see what happens. Good luck!

Could be as simple as bad breath. Maybe offer her gum before & make sure you are minty fresh too. Also if you have ticked her off & then try to kiss up, she doesnt want to kiss someone that shes mad at. Make nice & tell her you are sorry for how you act sometimes, she means everything to you and when she starts smiling look in her eyes & you'll know if shes ready...you might want to offer the gum about 10 minutes before hand, lol.

hi,
are you sure about your mouth?nothing wrong with the teeth or gums?do you kiss gently?is there a moustash over your upper lip?and many such questions about you and also about your wife.eg.background ,her lips(somthing wrong with the lips?)etc..
start kissing very gently and without any pressure first after brushing your teeth,do not suck or bite!!everything will be all right after a while and specially after she knows that your kisses mean love to her,be lucky

First was she always like this? If not then check your breath. Do you have bad teeth. A beard? Bad complexion? Check her habits for the day.

the feeling of your saliva on her lips is uncomfortable
she is afraid of intimacy with you
you have bad breath
you appear sickly or you have a cold
she's not in love with you...

why not just discuss this with her?
