so, i heard you can get a divorce from your parents? i dont want to sound stupid or anything, but i hardly see my mom, and when i do she is always yelling. i am 17, my gf is 18, and she wants to move out and get an apartment with me
i know theres some legal issues with that though, i just dont know what they are lol
any advice?

At 17 I do believe you are legally allowed to leave home, depending of course, where you live.

To be able to do that you need to prove that you are able to support yourself, have a job and a place of your own, and in your case prove that your mom is not in your life as a means of monetary support, plus the process might take a while, you may as well wait the year you have left.

i saw this on the Simpson's! Get a job & get the F*** of there and be with your girl. my friend did this and he is better off now his mom was the same way no wate worse than yours. find out it worked for Bart and My friend Daniel.
