He's deffinantly teething. My daughter started at the same age, she's five now and has almost all of her adult teeth, her twin brother didn't get his first tooth until he was a year old and he still hasn't lost his first baby tooth. All babies are different, but the later they get them the stronger they'll be when they grow up. Make sure you take good care of the teeth as soon as the first one comes in, you can get a finger brush at the store, its a plastic cover you put over your finger in order to "brush" the teeth. Works good, use it often, do what ever you can to keep the teeth healthy as they are more suseptible to cavities when they teeth so young. Good luck!

Some babies can start at 1 month depending on the baby! My 2 had their first teeth by the time they were 2 months old!

My daughter started teething at 3 months also. She didn't cut her first teeth until she was almost 6 1/2 months though.
I have heard babies can start teething as young as a month.

Babies can start feeling the tooth putting pressure on their gums long before they are actually ready to cut teeth. There's no telling when the first tooth will break the surface, but if your son is showing all the signs, just treat it like you would if he were older: Cold teething rings that are small for a young infant and teething tablets, which are all natural and not a choking hazard will help you both rest.
My son also loved the vibrating teether you can get at Babies R Us. It's star shaped and buzzes when baby bites on it. That kept him calm for hours.

Babies can start teething in the womb. The reason I know this is because my daughter was born with her bottom 2 teeth and shortly got the rest of her teeth. It's funny really but she's been teething since before she was born. So yes your son can be teething this early!

Yes they can. My little cousin is barely 4 months and she is teething as well. Her brother started teething at 4 months also, and her sister at 5 months. It just depends on the baby.

i wasn't going to answer as their have been 14 so far...but eh...here's my two cents too
i have a little boy who will be 9 months here in another week and he started showing some serious signs of teething at about 4months...
no teeth yet...still chews on everything...still likes to have his gums rubbed...
there is no "normal" about these things...there just is "this is what my kid did"
i did find out that teething is REALLY genetic...so find out when you or the daddy got your teeth and that might help.
i found out from my mom that my teeth came in at....
you guessed it
9 months.
i got my bottom two and top two middle ones that month..
looking everyday now to see if CJ plans to pop out some teeth.
good luck...
and enjoy your boy! they grow fast and i know you've heard that! it feels more true everyday! he started pulling up three days ago and now he's guiding himself up and down the couch.
they move fast!

a baby will teeth when ever they are ready..my daughter was 6m onths old when she got her first 2 teeth..the teeth will come and go..but htey really never pop out right away..my daughters teeth bothered her for almost a month in ahlf two months befor they actually came out..so maybe he can just be having the teeth pains from them trying to come out..its hard telling..i use tylenol and teething tablets for my daughter..don't worry teething tablest ar enot bad for a baby..you put them under their tounge and it dissolves in seconds..they work..so yeah he can teeth whenever he is ready..
