im a final year law student,so i can give you some advice. many people dont know is that a marriage is a legal contract between two people.all others outside this contract has to approach it in a negative sense, meaning that you must not intervere with it as a the third party that you are. if the affected party, in this case the wife, decides to sue you for personality damages, she can, in latin this term is called, solatium. this money is claimed from a person who caused mental and financial damage(the costs of the divorce for example and whatever other costs may be involved) wich caused her contract to be ended.if the judge grants this order from the wife you will be compelled to pay the damages caused as he sees fit, so indeed, if you cannot pay this money to her, you can go to jail.i seriously hope you dont brake up a marriage, because if he does it to her, he will most likely to it to you too. go forward in life, not backwards, and certainly enter into a relationship with no strings attached.

No, you won't go to jail. You aren't breaking the law (although some people will say you're breaking God's law aka commandment).
The only legal ramification I can think of is that once a woman sued her husband's lover for "ailenation of affection" and won a million dollar suit. It was on Oprah, or some talk show.
I don't think that is likely (why would the wife sue you and not the husband???). I don't think the woman who won the suit actually ever collected or intended to. I think she sued over principal.
But...you are running the risk of getting an STD because if he's cheating on his wife, he's probably cheating on you (or will possibly in the future). Also, you know he's a cheater. Men don't change. Why don't you find a nice, unmarried guy out there? I know you didn't ask for my opinion, and I'm not judging you but my feelings about men who cheat are: Once a cheater, always a cheater!
But no, you won't go to jail.

No, u won't go to jail, unfortunately. But u as a person should be ashamed of yourself because what makes it so bad is the fact that U KNOW he's married and yet you're continuing to have this illicit relationship with him. Women like u give the rest of the "good women" a bad name. U must be so proud.

There is NO legal consequences other then his wife or your husband getting a divorce. NO JAIL TIME. Unless you are under age. Then he would go to jail.
It seems to me that if you can spell consequences. You should know the answer.

o, But if you have Children it can make custody harder. Also, Do you want to stay married. Why would you want to cheat? I would try to discuss things with your husband and see what can be mended in your relationship before starting an affair. If you want to stay married that could be difficult if you are caught. Your conscience will also have to deal with this decision for the rest of your life. I would think seriously before doing this

A fact is you may be jailed,
but only if the other woman proves that you have ruined her marriage life, since law recognizes cohabiting with a wife.
So take care and spare your skin dont sleep around.

I know of no jurisdictions that would prosecute such a case, regardless of what statutes are on the books.
You are more likely to get physically harmed as a result than you are going to jail.
Be careful.

None. It's not against the law- although it's morally wrong. If you don't have problems with that, then that's your business. No, you won't go to jail.

no.. but its rude and wrong.
and if the wife ever finds out and decides to divorce the guy, she's pretty much going to get whatever she wants financially and whatnot.
but seriously. if he's married, why even bother? have some respect for yourself and dont mess around with someone else's husband.
