exsplain off site messages?

im persently unable to recieve e-mail from a site i looking into and have not totally subscribe to yet intereasted but not sure yet i have recieved e-mail but can't answer it the web site has ask for a off site messages i would assume it is asking me for a different e-mail address im i correct
