Man, I felt so sorry for Kasey Kahne today, especially when it showed him out of his car watching the race:( I am a HUGE Kasey fan, so I'm Praying that he will still have a chance at the Chase after this. Do you think he still has a chance?

I'm a huge Kasey fan as well. I felt really bad for him too, I was cursing Tony Stewart for the rest of the day. When they showed him sitting on the tire carrier all alone watching his crew fix the car I just wanted to cry. I so excited when he made the chase and even now I think he still has a chance. We know you should NEVER underestimate Kasey! Look what he did at California. I have faith that he will be able to get himself into a position to win the cup. I will of course pray that everyone in front of him has some serious bad luck in the next eight races.
Even if Kasey doesn't win the cup this year, he will definitely win one soon. He is a very talented driver. Go Kasey!!!!

Poor Kasey. He didn't deserve what happened, but things go wrong sometimes, unfortunately. He absolutely still has a chance of winning the cup! Kasey really impressed me this year when he made it into the chase, after a tough battle. He showed the world what he's got: a ton of talent! Kasey wants to win the chase, and he has the power to do so...but I think that he will have to win almost every up-coming race to win the chase. As in every year's chase, the best of the best are all racing together....and Kasey will have to hit his marks perfectly, stay focused at all times, not get into feuds with other drivers, and finish in strong top 5 or top 3 positions....and best of all, win races.And he CAN do it!! He has a lot of talent and good vibe, and he will be fine. I won't be surprised when the cup is handed to him.

Yes he still has a chance. I am a hudge Kahne fan. The other drivers can still do bad. He said he can not but I say he can. There is a whole he has to digg out of but if he dose not give up and not let this race gets to his head the last 8 I think he will. Lets go Kasey and do your best the next 8 races.

I thought they said he could still mathmatically win? I hope so. I also think is is such a cutie. I know they said there are alot of races at tracks he does good at in the next eight races, so lets have some faith, there's still a chance! I hope #8,#9 & #29 are the three top contenders.My heart went out to Kasey when I saw him sitting there by himself watching the race, think he knew there were thousands of us up there with him,in thought?

I too felt sorry for him after what happened yesterday. They showed him sitting by himself on his teams tire carrier.
I don't think he has a chance of winning the championship because he is too far back in the points but he can still win some races. Mathmetically he and Kyle Busch are out. All it takes is one bad race and you are out of contention for winning the championship. And Kasey had his yesterday.
Hey...at least Kasey can say that he made the Chase because there are a ton of drivers who can't even say that they made it.

Tony Stewart even said Kasey could win the next 8 and not win the cup....
But, at lease he is in the chase, which is awesome considering he is so young!

Unfortunately, I don't think he has a chance of winning the cup, but I do believe he has a good chance of moving up in the standings. Hopefully top 5 in the end.
It was sad to see him watching the race. I wanted to go through my TV to sit next to him to comfort him.

He look so pitiful we they showed that lol! He still has a slim chance he'll need to win a few more races and the guys ahead of him need to have a couple bad races. It's a long shot but he still has a chance.

No i dont think he can win the cup but he still has a good chance to win more races and move up in points.( and someone should have gave him a hug he looked so sad sitting by himself watching the race.)

He has a better chance than JJ or 'the shrub' When Gordon had his bad luck next week, we'll have all 3 HMS cars at the bottom where they belong.
Go - 8, 29, 31, 9, 11 (wish the 20, 16, and 43 were in it)
Boooo - 48, 5, 24, 17, 6.
