How noticable is a nose piercing without the stud?

I wanna get a nose piercing but I'm a bit concerned as to how noticable the hole will be if I decide to remove after a while (by awhile, i mean in years). Will it look tacky?

I think it will look tacky. I still have open holes in my ears from having a second set pierced 24 years ago. I wore earrings for 2 weeks and decided the 2nd set of earrings bothered me. I regret now that I had the 2nd set pierced.

I have a tiny silver stud in my nose and most times people don't even notice THAT the first time I meet them. It's not shiny or huge (it lies flat against my skin). I love my nose ring. As for the hole, if I take it out for what ever reason, it's even less noticeable. I guess it depends on your nose shape as to how well it compliments your face.

About as noticeable as a small pimple. The hole may close up over time, but there will always be a divot, as if you took it out last week.

If you leave any piercing without something in for a couple years, it will close up.

if i am interested in a girl i will look her over more closely and i will notice it for sure. in my opinion it is kinda strange and i can't help but make eye contact with it when we are talking. im not sure i am for or against it because im not perfect so i wont judge others based on a lil hole in their face, but i will make that repeated eye contact with it.

so, if you are comfortable with people looking at your nose instead of your eyes when you are talking to them then go ahead and do it. if not, then don't.

some people might judge you for it but people that judge suck anyways and their opinion is worthless.
