seriously.
those gloves that main character wears.. what are they called?? that style.. so ...something special about how they looked.
plus, they'd make great vash gloves.
i wouldn't buy official movie prop, those would be way too expensive. but anyway what is this style called, so that i may ebay them?

I believe that style of glove is referred to as a "gauntlet." They (the style) are common among motorcyclists - especially touring riders.

I think those particular hand gloves in the Rocketeer were specifically hand made for the film. I have, however, seen similar leather glove designs offered at motorcycle leather accessory merchants; you might can find them online.
You'd also be surprised how some popular film props can be sold for way affordable prices than imagined: again--it's all in where you look.
