just my personal opinion but I'm almost 4 months pregnant with baby number 5, and i have to say all day sickness is worse than giving birth. OK labour isn't easy and yes it does hurt but i believe if u try to stay in control for as long as you can labour can be fine... all woman are different but Ive had 2 hospital births and 2 home births with a bit of hope this 1 will be born at home. I'm a baby when it comes to pain but would rather give birth daily than have this rotten sickness 24/7.

I so sympathize with you. I am 11 weeks pregnant and I swear that I am enduring the cruelest torture of morning, noon, and night sickness. This is my fourth pregnancy so the nausea is nothing new to me but I feel like I am enduring cruel and unusual punishment. Trust me, giving birth is much easier! I have said that a million times during this pregnancy. An epiderol and the joy of seeing and holding your child for the first time practically makes you forget about the pain but the nausea is unspeakable. Good luck. One thing that has helped me is an organic anti-nausea remedy that I found in a natural food store. It has a mix of ginger and peppermint oils in it. It is not the most pleasant tasting thing in the world but neither is vomit. I take a swig of it a few times a day and it seems to subside the constant nausea.

Giving birth is no picnic honey! It sounds like you are having a difficult pregnancy. Tell your obstetrician. Most likely it will get better after the first trimester but you need to let your doctor know what is going on. Good Luck to You!

I personally remember being horribly sick for 9 mos with my first. The actual pain of labor...well, I know it hurt, but I can't say that's a pain to remember. You are going through too much to have pain be the only thing on your mind. I'm 11 weeks now, and sooo sick yet again, and I think that is thee worst part of pregnancy:)

Well they both end up giving you your greatest gift from God . Well second greatest gift.Yes giving birth is hard. But you have seconds between pains to relax. Your doctor you should talk too about pain meds for you. there are so many good ways out there and having a baby my be pain free except for the labor part. Hey you will go 9 mos so why worry it is worth every pain you may have. I KNOW GOOD LUCK

aww, hang in there, I think giving birth is harder, I mean you do all this work morning sickness, stretch marks, cravings, doctor appts....and when you go to give birth your not just scared for you anymore, you just hope all this trouble gives you a nice healthy baby. Youll be alright usually 2nd trimester is much easier and most of the third too.

CONTRACTIONS MAMIS ARE HELL... I DONT REMEMBER WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE I JUST KNOW THAT IT HURT!!!! I GOT INDUCED SO MY LABOR WAS A TAD BIT HARDER. ITS NO JOKE.
when you push that baby out it's the best feeling in the world. You will love pushing. your'll hate contractions. If I had to compare my morning sickness to labor. I say contractions were the worse. You got 30 more weeks mamaz just swallow it and pray that time flies

Well I think the whole deal is for the birds! Just kidding! Childbirth can be hard, but the best part of it is..... When you're done, you're done! Then it's all about raising that new baby. Which might be the longest hardest part of all! Good Luck
