Yes. On your tool bar, go to TOOLS, then WORD COUNT.
A pop-up then shows you how many pages, words, characters, paragraphs and lines your document has.
Pretty cool feature, huh? Sure beats having to do it manually and losing track of your count!

If you are using any version of Microsoft Word, go to tools and select the option WORD COUNT. Hope your essay is a hit.
