no way!! tennis is fun to watch and play! it's never really boring. i mean rafeal and roger fedderer and other players such as andy roddick, maria sharapova, kim clijsters, amelie muresmo and other top players are getting better and better everyday. all the pressure being put on the poor fuzzy tennis ball. and even tho andre aggasi is gone, we still have LOTS of other really good players out there.

Well buddy as you write "No more Agassi. No more McEnroe. No more Connors." you should also keep in mind that now there are young/new players like Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Roger Fedrer.
Legendary players have to leave sometime but new players will take their place. Thats life!

No...do you even watch it for the sport, or do you
want to be entertained? If you prefer the latter, may
I suggest TV, movies, music, a book, a play or a
magazine. Tennis is exciting if you appreciate the
skill that is involved, and the difficulty to reach the
higher levels of the sport. Tennis will always be less
boring than the following activities: Chess, Poker,
Bowling, Golf, Darts, Billiards (Pool), Baseball,
and other sports. Any sport can be boring or
exciting at any given time.

Actually for me it has become more exciting. I am not a big tennis fan but I love watching all the new and not so new girls play. Like Sharapova and the Williams Sisters.
I guess another passionate player will come along soon enough.

I've never really been into tennis at all. It's fun to play as a pickup sport (with the few rules I know), but I can't say I am at all enticed to view matches on TV or attend in person. Then again, I'm not really enticed to view much of anything on TV.
Compared to other sports though, it seems to me (again, I have a limited understanding of the sport) that tennis lacks the testosterone/adrenaline/packed-stadium environment of certain sporting events that makes them so fun to attend. For examples, see the Superbowl, NBA Finals, or especially World Cup matches. Wow.

YES. Racket equipment today is too lightweight and powerful and doesn't allow for an all court game with more variety of play. And so those who are best able to master power dominate with l no parity of competition.
