To ask a question is to live a little, and to answer a question is to live a little better. To answer a question perfectly is to kill a question once and for all. A perfect question therefore cannot be answered. It is regenerative in the mind. It is used to trigger further thoughts, ideas and even finer and better questions along the line. Questions keep us searching; they keep us alert, attentive and interested. I would therefore be better that questions are never answered off completely – as a question that can be answered thus has been a question in ignorance.
There are genuine people who like to ask genuine questions. The think along certain lines of inquiry, or about some issues of their choosing, and when during this process they come across a questionable situation they like to ask others. This is a very good way of thinking. By doing this, people know what they have been thinking about, or whether their questions are relevant and genuine in value.
When I am totally in doubt myself I often ask one-off questions or freestanding questions – question of common interest and general value. This is to attract as wider a response as I can from as many people as possible. This makes me feel happy and self-assured. In this case, I keep an open mind and try to find interesting and unique ideas in an all answers to my question.
I believe we never ask questions just because we want them to be answered. We ask questions for reasons that go beyond our question alone. We like people to come closer to where we are mentally and emotionally. We like to see whether people recognised our thinking and feeling. We like them to interact with as many people as there can be. We would not feel that happy if we were merely after one answer to our dear question. We like answers that are closest to what we have in our mind but not the exact. If this is not the case then we like answers that amuse us, bemuse us or reveal upon us strangest fact about the matter at hand or life in general. We always use questions as our spokes person, and declaration of ourselves.
Then there are people who ask questions the answers to which they already know. They know something that they want to tell others about it, and they want to make sure that others have heard. These are the question the likes of which we encounter in our classrooms where our teachers used to ask questions just in order to tell us something. These types of questions have very interesting people behind them. They should be listened to, even when we know the fact about them.
And when I choose a best answer in response to a question I asked, I almost always like to add personal comments to show my appreciation for the response, and also to invite the responder along the line of inquiry I find appealing for further thinking. Often I end up trying to excel in thought that makes up the best answer even though it is the best answer to my own question. I believe that what I have asked cannot be excelled by anyone – intellectual pride may be, or a thing too natural?

Both, I should think.
For some, the 'hectic of it' is the search.

bcause we are curious... inherent to all of us. we are never satisfied with what we have and always ask why or who or what or how, etc.... we seek that of which evades us, we want that of which is unattainable, we reason that of which convicts us, we need that of which lacks us....
