What happen if my fence is out of regulation? I live in San jose, CA? It is 7ft and it out to the sidewalk.?

The fence is 7ft tall and it goes all the way to the sidewalk. Do the city care? Thanks

Regulations vary by city. Check with your city to see what they allow. Most places allow a 6' fence with an additional 2' of lattice above. However, if you have a corner lot the fence can not be higher than 4' within 50' of the corner.
