The dialouge is mixed, and since its a poweraide commericial I think its fake, but it seems possible, given the size of the dents that serves routinley leave in clay courts.

It's fake. Check out the link below to see a cross-section of the clay courts at the French Open. The actual "clay" on the clay courts is a layer of crushed brick only a couple of millimeters deep. And so, for Andy Roddick's serve to have pentrated like that, it would've had to have done so into the layer of limestone. Sorry, but that's not physically possible--even for Roddick's serve. hehe.

An absolute commercial stunt. Very fake. They call them 'clay' courts, but they're not penetrable by tennis balls. Even if Andy serves 160 mph. The tennis ball will have to be made of lead or some other metal.
