Depends on the circumstances. In a professional office ...I don't think so. On a casual date or socializing...of course, a low cut top doesn't have anything to do with her intelligence. In an office situation I would frown on it, as eyes do wander and men naturally look and think "sex", and she knows that! Although I do think things are changing in that area. A low cut top doesn't mean she is compromising her seriousness, just may have a lack of style or knowledge.

i hope so cuz i sometimes wear them. as far as taking others seriously it doesn't matter to me what people wear, i take them seriously for the most part anyways.

You can't just decide on it by looking at what she wears. You gotta talk to her and decide from her speech if what she says can be taken seriously.
