A girl I know who has nice and white teeth says she uses the Crest whitening strips (the ones that you use for a week and are like $40.).
She uses them every 3 to 4 months. . .

Try some natural remedies. Swish a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide around your mouth for 1 minute, then brush your teeth with a baking soda toothpaste. The 2 together will fizz up in your mouth and REALLY clean your teeth and gums. Make sure to rinse well after you are done. And DON'T swallow the peroxide.
I have beeen doing this for several months now, my teeth look pearly white, and I am a smoker!

I use bleach. Any brand will do, even the inexpensive store brand. You have to ensure that you rinse thoroughly, because you can get a little queasy! Have fun and good luck with that new smile! ;)

I saw on TV that Consumer Reports tested toothpaste for this purpose, and Ultra-Brite was voted #1.
