I unfortunately damaged my iPod headphones some time ago. I would like to replace them with same headphones that came with it. I don't particularily feel like purchasing a remote + headphones bundle.

Since Apple's last product announcements (5.5th generation iPod, 2nd gen nano, and 2nd gen shuffle) Apple announced that they will be including new, higher quality Apple earphones with each iPod and for the first time they will be available in Apple stores for 29.00. So the answer to your question technically is yes, you can. Though these headphones are probably not the exact ones you are looking to replace, they are made by Apple, come with the new iPods and are better than the old ones. (I have owned both types.)

Here is the link to purchase them online: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/3.RSLID?mco=F9B85F7C&nplm=MA662G%2FA

They are also available in the stores too.
