I tan more than burn. Except for one one time when I was tubing down the river with my gang; I asked for sunscreen, I was given tanning lotion. I remembered thinking, "boy, this sunscreen sure does smell coconutty.." The next day I had a sunburn.
Most of the time I can spend a while out in the sun and get olive colored. I try not to do that too much.. I don't want problems in the future.

If I take my time, I tan. But the first sunny day of Spring I usually overdo it and burn.
