Would you be kind of weirded out?

This is happening to me and I feel that they could have searched a bit longer....Even said to my face they knew I wouldn't be thrilled about it-and then GIGGLED! How the heck do I take that?

Oh my gosh that would drive me insane. I would seriously consider moving to a different neighborhood. Most people want to avoid every day close contact with their ex's so I have no idea why yours would decide to move almost next door. Definitely wierd.

Did you say, "they" meaning he or she has remarried? Instead of acting upset (at least I would be), why don't you say to your ex's partner, "Oh boy, now I will get to spend more time with him/her, I've missed being around and talking with her/him since we got divorced!!! It will drive the new spouse crazy!

Really, if you have children it will be good for them to have both parents close.

Your only other option is to move. It doesn't sound like a lot of fun either way. I am sorry.
