That relies upon. Has your tongue swelled in any respect? If it has, i could advise attempting some Ibuprofen or eating some thing chilly first to purpose and make the swelling bypass down somewhat first. surprisingly spiced ingredients and chips could be prevented, some piercers advise no longer having dairy for each week. individually I had some problems with bread, cereal, and peanut butter my first few days. Spaghetti might experience bizarre the 1st time you eat it, because of the fact on occasion the strands get tangled around the longer bars and it does not bypass down your throat once you swallow. initiate with some thing trouble-free, like soup or warm canines without a bun, from then on it rather is incredibly plenty trial and mistake. merely determine you utilize your alcohol loose mouthwash every time when you eat.

This is something you should talk to the piercer before leaving next time. Stay away from anything acidic and stuff like that. Try softer foods like smoothies and yogurts and soup.

soft foods and liquids are best. warm soup is okay, it can help w/ swelling. stay away from too salty of soup tho....it will make your tongue burn like crazy. also stay away from anything acidic.....tomato products, OJ....etc. if you're really in doubt, call the place where you had it pierced and ask them. they should have talked to you about it already or given you a sheet w/ instructions on it.

i had my tongue pierced a while back- soup is good- let it cool down a little first- or try eating toast but only tiny bits at a time and chewing on one side of mouth

I would say something easy like soup (just warm not even close to being hot), but make sure you clean and rinse your mouth out with an antiseptic when you are done!
