richard armitage,bbc and others have recently said that the losses in afghanistsan are higher than reported.frontline will air a special on the taliban soon.where the truth about american losses will be made known.my question.. why is it necessary for this government to lie to us.constantly,about whats really goin on in afghanistan.iraq?

*IF* they are lying about the losses, the military is the only one with the true information, and no reporter will ever get their hands on it. You cannot accept what a reporter says about specifics as truth, because they can never be certain of the facts.
