maybe because they dont want the two sexes living together. who knows, but i think they should - it would make the show more interesting. i must say i like the show but tyra, her acting is over the top, freak show.

I guess it's cause their target audiences are women/teenage girls. It is catered for girls who dream to be a model and it is a reality TV show after all... to tell girls that in reality... you can be a model even if you are not that perfect!
Having male contestants with female would cause too much trouble. Firstly, there is no fair way to judge between the sexes. Secondly, to have an ALL male modelling competition wouldn't appeal to too many people. Maybe it would for you but not everyone!

Not enough drama. Male models would be dull.
There's no way you can compare them to female models and there's no way they could do a whole show just men.
Remember the hot Italian men? Who Shandi actually slept with? Best moment on reality tv ever.

Probably because in the fashion industry the male models doesn't have the glamour of female models and they are actually paid less than women in that industry.
How many male models you can name? Not many probably, when you know a lot of female ones.

There is really no top model that are male! They can find any pretty boy to do a shoot -then just discard them! How many supermodel females can you name?? Now how about male??

I herd someplace that they have got a tutor referred to as u . s .'s next Male type or something like that. i've got in no way seen it for myself, yet i've got seen some issues on utube approximately it n stuff
