No, it was initially developed as a topical treatment for acne, but it was then discovered that it was very effective at increasing skin cell renewal and stimulating collagen/elastin in the dermis. Is it one of the most effective anti-ageing and rejuventation skin treatments around. HTH : )

well iv used retin A for 14 years for acne it is used for acne but also gets rid of wrinkles. yes it works but it not overnight tou have to be patient and use correctly it peels away layers of your skin so there will at times be redness and flakiness until your skin is used to it. I look much younger im 37 and in dont have a single wrinkle adn i date men who are25 because thats how old they think i am.

It was developed for Acne, and they found out it was good for wrinkles. You can get a RX for pure Retin-A from your doctor or dermatologist, if you don't have one already.
