I am thrilled to see him win!!! Burton races hard, has great strategy when he drives, and he rarely ever causes trouble with anybody. He has a heart of gold...always kind to fans, always participating in interviews, always thinking in a positive way. He has had some terrible luck in the past, mainly due to things out of his own control (like cars hitting him, etc). He kept his head up, though, and wouldn't let anything get him down. He just kept saying each week "We'll see about this week...who knows?" And finally he got what he deserved: a win! What a battle it was! He and Kenseth really fought for the lead, and I was yelling and cheering at home in front of the TV when I saw him take that lead away from Matt! Just amazing! I'm so happy for Burton...he really deserved that win.

That is long overdue. For a good portion of this season, he had a hot car the first half of the race but could never close the deal. It was great to see him doing all he could to get by Matt Kenseth.

I always thought five or six years ago that we would see Jeff Burton's name listed as a Cup Champion. If he keeps doing what he is now, that could happen.

I was really happy for him. If my driver couldn't win (and he obviously couldn't, LOL) then I was glad to see someone who hadn't won for so long finally get it done. Burton has been close so many times this year, it was good to finally make it to victory lane. Plus, he, his wife, and whole team were so emotional after the win, it was really touching. Hard not to be happy for him, when you could see how important it was to him. He really appreciated it, unlike the guys who win so often that it loses it's significance.

Way to go Burton and the 31 team. Thats a cool win. Even though I was going for you know who but hey that was awesome to see. Typical Gordon fan response above.

It is good to see Jeff in victory lane.He seemed to be the odd man out the past 4 or 5 years but hopefully this is his step back to the front.

Yes! i could have only been happier if Casey Mears had won it! I swear I had tears in my eyes. His last win was Phoenix in October of 2001! Jeff is a great driver and I'd love to see him the champion!

I am. He seems like a good guy. Glad it finally happened for him. If Jr can't win the Cup, I hope one of the RCR guys do.

Oh, it was the only good thing about the race, I think! (Stewart and Harvick are my drivers.)

I love it when a long winless streak gets snapped. And I feel better about him being in the Chase.
