I'm biased, but I love Seattle and would recommend this area to anyone. If you have a family, you might be more apt to live in one of Seattle's suburbs, but you'd definitely have adventure here, especially if you love the outdoors.

The weather is rainy in the winter, but summers are beautiful and e have mountain ranges all around us. Great for hiking, scenic drives, etc. Lots of water too, so boating, swimming, kayaking.

I would highly recommend it :)

Well let's see... -There's some real estate open along the San Andreas Fault in California,-the crime rate is low & I hear the place can REALLY rock on occasion! And then alot of new land has reciently opened up to the SE of New Orleans- the crime rate is practically non-existant, & scenery will blow you away. And finally- (if you REALLY like a challenge), there's always new land opening up on the big Island of Hawaii that's selling at firesale prices- but where crime hasn't caught up to- yet. Other than THOSE; the best place to live- is wherever you're happy.

That's a question that you need to give more info on... You need to know the climate you like, the environment, the culture, the educational systems, price, if you want to live near family, or vise versa, and the feelings of whom you'd be living with!

I personally LOVE Hawai'i, but it's expensive as hell, and education is a bit lacking. San Antonio, Texas is nice, but it's too hot.... But great schools all around, and great food :-). Florida is always beautiful, and schools are good, but it's VERY HUMID and it's a great target for hurricanes.

So just think about things like that....
