It shouldn't prevent pregnancy, but, you will probably be a high risk pregnancy. You probably won't know if you are pregnant because you might be pregnant on one side and the other side would be dropping an egg every month.

I knew someone with the same condition and she delivered a healthy son.

yes it certainly makes it more difficult. I know people who have had it and have children but yes, it makes it more complicated
