Are commercials shown after the program in France?

When I was in high school, my Frenh teacher told the class that in France, commercials aren't shown during the show (like they are in America), but instead, all of the commericals are shown at the end of the show.

Is this still how televised commercials are done in France?

No things have changed. The show can be interrupted up to 3 times by commercials.
The average lengths of those commercials is about 4 minutes during the show and up to 10-15min after
