Interesting question!
Up until the late 19th century, most zoologists considered this facet of study to be worthless, or altogether disgusting. However, emerging in the late 1980's was pioneering scientist Dr. Pantelis Zografos, of Athens, Greece, who placed single ants under intense magnification (300-400x)
He covered the ants with a thin powder, and noticed that ants do indeed create flatulence. (He observed puffs of powder coming off of the ants occasionally.)
However, ant "farts" are relatively rare at 1-2 instances per day. (compared to the average human at 14-16 per day)
Also, ants do not excrete at the behind, but rather at a point near the center of the body. I hope this helps!

I have no idea. Maybe sit down with a magnifying glass and look at him. If u look carefully while sitting in the sun u might see flames shooting out of his bum.

Of course they do, otherwise they'd try lighting their mounds instead of working in the dark.
