Stay at one of the Value Resorts like Pop Century, All Star Music, Movies, or Sports. Disney often runs specials to stay in these resorts. You can sometimes get a room for $65/night, and don't forget that includes ALL of your transportation to and from ALL of the Disney parks!!

That is the best value for staying inside Disney, plus they will pick you up from the airport and drop you off at your resort, can't beat that!

Here is what we do, and I suggest you try out.

Contact WDW either on phone or the www and ask them to send you a WDW vacation planing kit, it is free and you really get a great tour of WDW without spending hours on the phone or surfing the www.

Next contact WDW and talk to a vacation consultant be upfront and tell them your looking for the most affordable way to stay inside WDW. If you have things like AAA or other discount offers be sure to tell them. Do not commit right away take their best price and go to the next step.

Check out a local travel agent and get their very best price, if it is higher than WDW show them the package they offered and start the bargaining process. You would be surprised how prices are negotiable.

You may also find that if the prices don't come down, the incentives go up. Also check out some of the travel companies on the web Yahoo, Budget, etc. Stay away from private offers on eBay many of these are expired and some are outright shams.

Lastly it is cheaper to stay outside WDW but we (family) would rather pay a little more $$ and stay inside WDW like you. Going with my family has given us some of the greatest times and experiences we have had, we cannot afford to make it this year or next, but hope you and yours have a great time!

Stay at Pop Century, All Star Movies or All Star Sports.
They are cheap rooms. You get free transportation in the parks so no need to pay for parking. We bring one large suitcase filled with breakfast bars, snacks, apples, oranges water and cokes. We eat all breakfast meals in the room--Breakfast bars, honeybuns, or muffins that we packed. We bring fruit roll ups, crackers and water to the parks in a back pack. We also made Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches last time and it saved us a bundle! This is the only way we can go every year -- since we have to fly.

At the end of the trip, we throw all excess food away and bring back Disney goodies!!

Stay at Disney's value resort, The All Star, or stay at a hotel which is off Disney property. Stay somewhere with a kitchenette so that you can cook your own meals instead of eating out.
Pack water bottles into your bag and take them with you into the park. Refill them throughout the day. People walking around all day shouldn't have soda anyway. Get discounted park tickets buy purchasing through AAA (only if you are a member) or at your local Disney Store!

stay at a value resort so you are at least on disney property and get all the little perks of extra hours to parks and there transportation which is nice instead of driving and having to pay 10.00 a day to park

Stay at one of the All-Star Resorts. They are cheap, but not dumpy. They are really bright and fun!! And the buses pick you up at the resort and take you right to the parks!!
