When someone has crabs it is meant that they have lice in the pubic hair around their genitals.
This can be cured by using medicated shampoos, combing out the bugs and their eggs or simply by shaving it all off.

Scientific and aggravating. Crabs are small insects that are usually found in pubic hair that bite and cause irritations to the skin. They can be tranferred from one person to another. Contamination can usually be "cured" with the application of selected ointments. Good Luck!!

The scientific name is "pediculosis pubis". Any dictionary will help with the meaning.

Remember a previous poster saids they can be transferred from one person to another...this means...ask the person that gave them to you - where did they get them? You don't want them back.

You get from having a lot of germs on your genitals. I think it's like red dots then it itches. You can get them from not washing yourself, using public bathrooms or intercourse.
