I have been in a relationship with my Indian man for 3 years now. Upon hearing of me his mother required him to stop seeing me and to go back to India and marry a woman of Her choice etc. He refused and told her if he could not marry me...then he would not marry at all. His mother calls our house every day for at least 3 hours trying to convince him that I am horrible in not so many words. He still stands firm to me and his decision. Yesterday she demanded a once and for all answer. He said he loves and chooses me. Well, now the woman has dis-owned him and got herself such a mess that she is in the hospital. Any suggestions? Has anyone been there and got through it? Thank you for your time.

I understand but he loves you that is all you need to know...it is not his fault she is ill...she can be using that so he can go home and make him feel guilty...but rest assure he loves you..

where does the rest of his family stand on this issue?
also, you may want to go visit India and learn more about the culture etc - that might help......if you email me i might be able to offer other ideas.......
