If my child and i both forgot his password and he cant sign on to his account how do i find out his password?

If it is on the computer account and it is windows xp that your talking about, because u didnt specify. follow these directions

turn the computer off and once it turns on the minute it turns on press the f8 button on the top of your keyboard repeadly and dont stop until a list apears. from there you can can chose safemode. when safemode loads hit yes if you get a popup message and you can chose the administrative account. im not sure if the popup is before or after chosing the administrative account.

after you are in the admin account go to start control panel. in the control panel select users. in users chose your account and hit delete password. and then chose your childs and delete his password.

restart your comuter and your all set.

Very very very easy... log onto the machine as an administrator.

START - RUN - type in CMD, hit enter.

At the command prompt type: net user "username" "password"

where "username" is the account you are changing the password for
and where "password" is the new password.

There is no way of recovering a password in a user account.... You must to log-in in administrators account and unprotect the locked account.... meaning, to remove the password totally... Do it in administrators account

There must be a link of forgot password click on that then it will ask answer of ur secret question which u hv entered during sign-up.

click on the forgot password link and enter the details required usually your password is resend using the email address you submit upon registration.
